Environmental Policy Statement

EKII is committed to continuously improving its environmental management system, and is working towards meeting the requirements of the international standard, ISO 14001(2004). 

          The company's aims with respect to the environment are: 

• To comply with all existing regulatory legislation at European, national and local levels and adopt a positive stance in anticipating future, more stringent, regulatory requirements.
• To minimise waste throughout its sites, with better utilisation of raw materials, energy and water.
• To minimise polluting emissions into the environment by prevention at source wherever possible.
• To set clear environmental objectives with regular progress measurement.
• To ensuring that our suppliers and subcontractors are made aware of this policy and are actively encouraged to adopt good environmental management practice.

 At all times, waste generated by our activities will be strictly controlled and monitored, following the correct procedures laid down for the disposal route of that product/waste.  Care should be taken at all times not to pollute clean areas when engaged in clean-up activities.

 All our employees are fully aware of the company’s objectives and are encouraged to fully participate in the successful operation of the business.
